Announcing our 2026 theme: Resilient Futures

From climate change, to systemic inequities, to national and global political shifts, we are living in a time of increasing stress and change. How can the design community contribute to our collective resilience as we move into the future? The Hideo Sasaki Foundation’s 2026 theme is Resilient Futures. Our public programs will connect design and community-driven action. Our research and grants will support community experts advancing adaptive capacity in their neighborhoods. Our design education will engage local youth in exploring how they can shape the future. Stay tuned for more!
