Staying Connected in a Disconnected World

Public Programming

February 25, 2021

Since the pandemic completely disrupted our lives nearly one year ago, most of us have found ourselves transferring many parts of our lives that once took place in person — with our family, friends and communities — to a virtual realm. While some have found this newfound lifestyle change manageable, though far from ideal, many have struggled and continue to struggle, wondering if and when life will go back to normal.

How do we stay active and healthy, both physically and mentally, while so much of our daily lives occurs behind a screen?

How do we maintain social connections while also staying safe?

How do we keep moving forward with a positive attitude?

Join us for a virtual panel discussion with speakers from the Greater Boston area:

  • Nigel Jacob, Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics (MONUM)
  • Alex McCray, Philanthropy MA
  • Kate McLeod, MassTLC
  • Caitlyn Clauson, Sasaki (moderator)

This conversation will provide well-rounded insight into how we keep the many communities we belong to stronger than ever.
